Increased Oil Production
By installing AICVs across the wellbore, the reservoir becomes more capable of producing increased amounts of oil. The works because an AICV® can remain open for oil, yet close for (or greatly choke) high gas-oil ratios or high water cut zones.

Successful deployments have been proven across a wide spectrum of 'ultra light oil with 0.25 cP', as well as heavy oil /bitumen with>1000 cP viscosity.  Installations has been installed in several different countries with several different operators.
